The wedding will take place at the Fairmont Banff Springs, located in the heart of Banff National Park, nestled within the Canadian Rockies at the base of Rundle Mountain. While the reception is black tie, feel free to show everyone your best granola gorpcore attire during the week!

If you're planning to arrive by plane, we recommend flying in to Calgary International Airport (YYC), which is roughly 100 km east of Banff.

Sundance Loop Ride
Ride up along the natural sulphur hot springs as you make your way to one of Banff’s national historic sites: the Cave and Basin. Next, trek along the tranquil Bow River and take in magnificent views of the Bow Valley before pressing through thick marshes in the climb up Sulphur Mountain.

Lake Agnes Tea House
The Lake Agnes Tea House, situated near Lake Louise at an altitude of 7,000 ft, was originally built in 1901 by the Canadian Pacific Railway as a refuge for hikers, and started serving tea in 1905. The hike up to the Lake Agnes Tea House takes about 2 hours and is suited for all ability levels.

Banff Gondola
Feel the excitement as the Banff Gondola whisks you above the treetops! In just eight minutes, you'll ascend 700 metres up a steep mountainside to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Keep the adventure going with an easy hike along a 500m boardwalk to Sanson Peak, where you'll discover the Sulphur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station National Historic Site and the 1903 weather observatory.

Icefields Parkway
Linking Lake Louise with Jasper, this is one of the most beautiful journeys on the planet. Rated as one of the top drives in the world by Condé Nast Traveller, experience a 232 km stretch of double-lane highway with soaring rocky mountain peaks, icefields, a variety of wildlife, birds, and vast sweeping valleys.

Helicopter Tours
Helicopter flights near Banff National Park offer a unique way to view the stunning scenery of the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains. Tours typically range in length from 25-45 minutes of air time, and are recommended for passengers 2 years of age or older.

Banff Upper Hot Springs
Slow down and enjoy a moment of relaxation in the hot springs after a busy day of exploring in the mountains. The water in the Banff Upper Hot Springs is heated geothermally, bubbling up to the surface from three kilometres into the earth’s crust. A National Park Pass is required when entering Banff National Park. You can purchase your pass in advance here.
